25 May 2008 - Littleport Lions tournament

Some City players played for the Roos team in Littleport on Saturday and Sunday.

Lots of sun Saturday saw us play outdoors and gain 2 drwas from 5 matchs. We kept the other games close, even playing against good teams. There was lots of singing on the sidelines and in the camp.

The party that night was big and then slightly worse for wear (and with a howling gale to contend with) the action moved indoors. Roos went on to beat Ely and only lost to Highbury 1 by 6 - 2 and Tigers 4 - 0. Both are top sides. Roos won the trophy for top beginner side (well, the only beginner side) but finished 9th or 10.
